JUNE – Pearl, Moonstone or Alexandrite
Pearls are the only gems from living sea creatures. They require no faceting or polishing to reveal their natural beauty. Pearls have been beloved for centuries, the 1500s in Tudor, England, were known as the Pearl Age. Both cultured and natural pearls have many colors and shapes to choose from.
Moonstone is brings hope, enhances sensitivity, intuition, and psychic abilities. It is also said to brings abundance to bearers life. It is a stone of protection during travel at sea. It is a stone of calm and relief from emotional stress. The White to bluish color has a sheen that moves under the surface of this feldspar, similar to moonlight glowing in water.
Alexandrite can appear to change colors in different lighting, from the spectrum from purple to greenish-blue with changes to a raspberry pink color. They are thought to assist one in centering the self, reinforce self esteem and increase the experience of joy.
