SEPTEMBER – Sapphire
Popular since the Middle Ages, sapphire is said to protect loved ones from envy and harm. Mideival clergy wore sapphires to symbolize heaven while the commoners thought it to bring heavenly blessings. It has long thought to symbolize truth, loyalty and faithfulness. Sapphires found worldwide in colors of White, pink, yellow and of course blue, depending on where it is mined and many shades in between.
